Coming Soon: Book Blogger Appreciation Week, Year 4!

Posted on 05:00 by Guy
It's on its way...and whether it's your first time or your fourth, you're invited to be a part of all the fun and festivities!

Book Blogger Appreciation Week (BBAW) was founded by Amy Riley of My Friend Amy in September 2008 as a way to celebrate the community she'd found online. Since then, it's grown into a group effort with a dedicated team of behind-the-scenes helpers and literally hundreds of bloggers joining in the daily themed posting, giveaways, community-building (not unlike what goes on during Armchair BEA), and recognition of outstanding book blogging in the BBAW Awards!

In order to participate in the awards process - as a nominator, voter, or (if you're lucky!) a candidate, you must register for BBAW 2011 - this year, registration requires a Twitter ID or Google Account.

Judges for the awards are currently being recruited on the redesigned BBAW Blog, and you can also find information there regarding:

  • FAQs
  • Award eligibility
  • Outline of the awards process
  • Definitions of the blog-award categories
  • Definitions of the book-award categories

Registration is now open, and nominations will open soon, so what are you waiting for? Sign up to be part of BBAW 2011 today! I've already signed up - I wouldn't miss it, and I hope you won't either!
