1. Which hour was most daunting for you?
Probably hour 19, since I called it after that!

2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?
Not really - I think Readers should choose books that would interest them on any occasion. However, picking shorter, faster-moving, more plot-oriented books is a good idea; humorous essay collections that can be read in pieces to break up the flow are also good.

3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
Personally, I'd just like it not to start at 5 AM my time!

4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?
The Cheerleader teams and Twitter updates

Four

The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, by E. Lockhart
Carney's House Party, by Maud Hart Lovelace
Winona's Pony Cart, by Maud Hart Lovelace (these two were combined in one volume)
The Chosen One, by Carol Lynch Williams

7. Which book did you enjoy most?
The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks

8. Which did you enjoy least?
Winona's Pony Cart - It was OK, but it's a kids' book and just didn't fully engage me (if it hadn't been bundled with Carney's House Party, I probably would have passed on it)

9. If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?
If you're going to Read and Cheer, the minimum cheer time you should sign up for is 3 hours (but you can split it up). It's OK to have just one or two cheers you paste into everyone's comments. Accept that you just won't get as much reading done, but Cheering is a good way to help keep yourself motivated too!

10. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
I think I'm hooked now, and would definitely do it again! And I like both Reading and Cheering, so I'd probably keep doing both.
